Contractor Orientation Course(s) for Contractors

Designed for: Contractors working for/with Engineering Work Groups and Engineering Project Representatives

From: Burlington Railroad, Norfolk Southern, Canadian National, Union Pacific Railroad, Florida East Coast Rail, Alaska Railroad, Metra Commuter Railroad, Conrail, Idaho Northern & Pacific, Nebraska Central, New Orleans & Gulf Coast Railway, Wichita, and Tillman & Jackson Railway.

The following web-site has been designed for you, your employees, and your sub-contractors to obtain your orientation for Contractor Safety while working on these properties. This site is designed as an orientation course and can be used as an individual study course or as a group facilitated course.

You must be registered and have completed the specific course and exercise for that specific railroad prior to working on their property. These orientation courses are required to be completed annually.

Tracking the different courses that you take.

Each Railroad will have a short evaluation sheet at the end of the orientation courses for the specific railroads that you are doing work for. These evaluations will be used to track your knowledge of key points. Once you have registered you will select which railroad course and evaluation you will need to take. You only need to take the evaluation of the railroad that you will be working for. This "cafeteria style" approach will allow you to come back at anytime and take the evaluation that you need to. You just need to pay for the evaluation when you take that evaluation. You can prepay any amount as a "credit" for your company.

Each evaluation is good for one-year.

Upon completion of any of these courses and exercises you will receive a pocket card verifying completion of the courses that you have taken, you will also be listed on the completion data base which is available to anyone for review.

The cost of these courses are only $11.00/person/course.  r
